Algemeen

De Laney Black Country Customs DB-EAST-PRE is de Nathan East signature basvoorversterker in compact pedaalformaat, ontwikkeld als draagbare oplossing voor het geluid van een ‘big rig’. Hij hoort bij de DIGBETH bass-serie en is gemaakt voor bassisten die live én in de studio één centrale tone-shaper willen gebruiken.

Je werkt met twee ingangen (Input 1/2) zodat je bijvoorbeeld twee bassen kunt aansluiten en direct kunt schakelen; Input 2 heeft daarbij een eigen trim om volumes te matchen. De klankbasis bestaat uit een FET- en Tube-kanaal die je onafhankelijk kunt gebruiken en met elkaar kunt blenden. De tube-sectie heeft drie gain-karakters, terwijl de Range-regeling bepaalt hoeveel low-end je de drive in stuurt. Met Bass/Lo-Mid/Hi-Mid/Treble, TILT en de instelbare Lo-Mid (Q en frequentie) maak je het helemaal af.

Voor podium en recording is er een gebalanceerde XLR DI met Pre/Post/LA·IR modus en ground lift. LA·IR is voorgeladen met IR’s van Nathan’s favoriete cabinets (DBV410 op input 1 en DBV212 op input 2) en via USB-C kun je zowel de LA·IR app gebruiken als class compliant audio in/out op 48 kHz (post IR) naar je DAW sturen. Daarnaast zijn er een transparante FX-loop, tuner out, aux-in en een stereo hoofdtelefoonuitgang met cabinet emulatie. Let op: de benodigde 9-12V DC adapter (center negative, 500 mA) wordt niet meegeleverd.
