The Boss W-TAE CORE is designed to unlock the full potential of your tube amplifier, with exceptional sound and flexibility in a compact and portable housing. This innovative tool utilizes selectable Reactive Load circuits for your combo and head, allowing the characteristics of your guitar amplifier to be transferred naturally. Whether you use line or speaker connectors, this Waza Tube Amp Expander Core ensures an authentic sound and response while playing, making it a perfect solution for volume control during both recording and live performances. The W-TAE CORE is compatible with a wide range of tube amps, but please note that only tube amplifiers up to and including 100 watts of power are supported.

The Air Feel function creates a natural-sounding atmosphere and depth, making your guitar sound lively and room-filling. The Mix Assist function optimizes your guitar sound for professional recording, mixing, and mastering. Additionally, the W-TAE CORE offers 22 speaker cabinet emulations recorded with a microphone. You will find high-quality Digital IRs from Celestion here. Do you want to load your own third-party IRs? Then this Waza Tube Amp Expander Core supports 64 user impulse response slots for loading mono and stereo WAV files with a resolution of up to 32-bit floating point at 96 kHz. Furthermore, you have 5 microphone types to choose from. You can select up to 2 options from these and mix them together to create your own personalized sound experience.

In addition, this Boss W-TAE CORE provides premium stereo effects such as compression, delay, reverb, and a parametric or graphic equalizer for total sound control. With the 10 recallable rig settings, you can save your favorite settings, and the external effects loop allows you to connect and use your external effect pedals in series or parallel. With this Tube Amp Expander, you as a guitarist can enjoy rich, dynamically complex guitar sounds even at low volume. This is thanks to the reactive drive power amp designed according to the Boss Tube Logic philosophy. Furthermore, the Waza Tube Amp Expander Core is equipped with balanced XLR line outputs for connecting to recording equipment or a sound system, and also features a USB port for direct audio recording and software editing. The headphone output offers you the option to practice amplified without making noise. In other situations, you can easily connect your speaker cabinet to the onboard speaker output.
