(B-Stock) LD Systems Dave 8 XS draagbaar PA-systeem zwart

These speakers are said to be the product of a German company, although I also saw a video where it was mentioned, that they were made in the Netherlands, but let's skip that, which means, that they should be produced in Europe. I live in the Netherlands and the shipment took 6 business days (delivery was delayed one day, because of heat), where if the goods are out of stock and have to be imported from another warehouse, which is even in another country, the period should be much shorter, what makes my assumptions point towards China, where the shipment must have come from, because it's extremely hard for me to believe, that these speakers are made on client's order, that's why it took so long, however I must also admit, that they smell like new so who knows?

As for the speakers themselves, I decided on LD Systems Dave 8XS due to the lack of wireless technology (huge plus for that) for which LD Systems was distinguished and use widely in other models. It is sad to see how irresponsible are companies implementing new technologies, which do not pay attention to their harmfulness and even the possibility of spying and stealing data from customers, which in turn limits the array of choices of people like me, who pay attention to own actions, also taking into account others, including other living organisms on this planet without which we are done, and which die as a result of electromagnetic waves sent by telecommunications towers, devices and even energy weapons globaly used on citizens.

After testing the speakers, the overall experience is very good. Subwoofer and it's bass sounds amazing, mid and high range also not bad at all. The minus is the limited frequencies, the range is only up to 19000kHz, which is rare, because even in one of the cheapest headphones the range can reach up to 22000kHz not to mention the speaker in which I think this should be even more important. If comes about speaker set alone, I didn't expect it would be so big and heavy (I didn't check that carefully before purchase), it rather don't suit on desk or table, especially woofer. Next thing quite important is noise, humming coming from the speakers during standby and buzzing from subwoofer can be heared easily, from the woofer even from a longer distance noise is audible, so when I listen music louder it's not a problem, because music outloud the noice a lot, but with listening on a low volume some quiter music it can influence the experience with listening music, what might be bothering in general. Sound volume is impressive, for a room more than enough. I was testing them without any equalizer, they sounds great without it. Like for a price over 400€ if we sum up cost of cables speakers are quite good. From me a little bit less than 4 stars.

Geen toeters en bellen, maar wel kwaliteit voor een goede prijs. Ik heb de installatie gebruikt als PA met DJ op een feest met meer dan 65 personen. Half volume was al meer dan genoeg voor een gevulde dansvloer. In de toekomst zal de PA zonder moeite de zang ondersteunen in onze (rock) band.

Update: met alle bekabeling is de geluidsinstallatie wel insane!

Heb deze installatie gekocht denkende dat ik het uitpak en direct muziek kan beginnen luisteren… neen. Ze moeten er bij zetten dat er GEEN kabels bij zitten om de 2 speakers met de woofer te verbinden. Best frustrerend.
(Geen 5 sterren het is niet aan te passen. Ik zou deze speaker wel 5 sterren willen geven maar heb ze na een week nog niet kunnen testen.)
