Algemeen

De Fortin Amplification 33 is ontwikkeld in samenwerking met Fredrik Thordendal van Meshuggah. Deze stompbox verandert elke gitaarversterker in een pure metalmachine. Het is namelijk een gefilterde clean boost, waarbij je tot wel 22 dB aan boost tot je beschikking krijgt. Doordat het een clean boost is, blijft het natuurlijke karakter van je amp volledig intact. Een handige toevoeging is de extra jack-aansluiting aan de zijkant, waarmee je kunt schakelen tussen de kanalen op je versterker. Handig als je bijvoorbeeld je clean channel echt clean wilt houden, maar wel snel wilt kunnen schakelen naar je brute metal sound. De matzwarte behuizing met het glanzende zwarte logo maakt de Fortin 33 een bijzondere verschijning op je pedalboard.

Geweldig pedaal. Een echte "one-trick pony" maar wat 'ie doet, dat doet 'ie goed. Of het het geld waard is, dat mag een ieder voor zichzelf bepalen. De mini versie is overigens precies hetzelfde en een stukje goedkoper. Doe daar je voordeel mee ;).
