Algemeen

De Plexi Crunch van Nux is een distortion effectpedaal uit hun Reissue-serie. Deze pedaal is uitgerust met een analoog circuit met 3 versterkingsfasen en is voorzien van een actieve tone-schakeling en true bypass hardware switching. Dit gitaareffect levert een high gain distortie dat doet terugdenken aan hot rodded buizenversterkers. Wie de sound van de “wall of Marshall” versterkers wil herbeleven is met deze pedaal aan het juiste adres. Met de tone-knop controleer je de frequenties in het midden. De preamp-knop bepaalt de hoeveelheid distortie en met de presence-regelaar controleer je de hoge tonen. Je krijgt een 9V-batterij meegeleverd met deze effectpedaal maar het is aan te raden om een adapter aan te schaffen aangezien het verbruik van deze pedaal nogal hoog ligt.

Zeer tevreden met deze aankoop! Mooie Marshall crunchtonen (AC/DC!) die je naar believen fijn kunt afstellen met de vier knoppen. Blijft helder en krachtig, niet modderig. Ik gebruik hem met een kleine Blackstar HT1-RH head buizenversterker op het clean kanaal.

Excellente pédale. Un bon son bien tranchant et percusif. Bien mieux que la boss DS-1. trop criarde. Un fidèle son Marshall, et une belle plage d’expression grâce au potard de présence (= contour sur canal drive d’ampli fender par exemple). Les powerchords sont puissants avec ça, et les solis très dynamiques.
