Love at first sight.
I really love the design, with its broad, flat neck and larger-than-usual head-stock.
I was looking for a work horse to use at gigs—something with an effective and good sound but not so expensive that it would be irreplaceable. Aside from the look, which I personally love, I found the guitar to be perfectly set up and tuned, with a very balanced sound both amplified and unplugged. It is also very light and comes with strap buttons!
I would have appreciated a flamenco style pick-guard though. This beauty likes to play venues!
For the price, it offers great transparency across the entire range and no dead notes.
Not as dynamic as a more expensive class it requires less compression when amplified.
I also appreciate the Fishman pickup, which has only three controls instead of five, and the handy phase switch next to the tuner.
All in all, I’m very satisfied with my purchase. That said, I would have gladly paid extra if it came with a hard-shell case. I ended up buying a soft case instead, but somehow my expensive flamenco guitar liked it more and happily traded its hard case for it! A great quality/price value!

Ik hou echt van het originele ontwerp, met de brede, platte hals, de iets grotere kop en de eenvoudige toch elegante bouw.
Ik zocht een werkpaard voor mijn optredens—eentje die goed klonk, maar niet zo duur dat hij onvervangbaar zou zijn.
Los van het uiterlijk, dat ik persoonlijk erg mooi vind, was de gitaar perfect afgesteld en gestemd, met een gebalanceerde klank, zowel versterkt als akoestisch.
Hij is bovendien erg licht en heeft strap buttons! Toch miste ik een flamenco style slaagplaat. Want deze schoonheid houdt van optredens!
Voor deze prijs biedt hij een verrassend transparant geluid over het hele bereik, zonder dode noten.
Het feit dat hij minder dynamisch is dan duurdere gitaren, betekent dat het bij versterking minder compressie nodig is. Ook ben ik heel blij met de Fishman-element, met de drie toonregelaars in plaats van vijf, en vooral met de fase-schakelaar !
Al met al ben ik erg tevreden met mijn aankoop. Toch had ik graag iets extra betaald als het met een bijpassende hard-case kwam. In plaats daarvan kocht ik een soft-case. Gek genoeg vond mijn dure flamenco-gitaar die fijner en ruilde hij zonder probleem zijn hard-case in! "Een prima prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding."
