Algemeen
Met de Gold Passion heb je een excellente moderne elektrisch-akoestische gitaar met een goed gerijpte basisklank in handen, waarbij niets je in de weg staat om gelijk onstuimig akoestische gitaarspel te laten horen. Dit komt met name door het getorrificeerde bovenblad van Engelmann sparrenhout, die door de speciale Aged To Vintage behandeling je gelijk die fijne ingeleefde sound van een echt vintage staalsnarige westerngitaar biedt. De sonisch verbeterde en 30% dunnere UV-afwerking van deze flattop zorgt er bovendien voor dat alle houtsoorten vrijer kunnen vibreren en ademen, waardoor de akoestische klank zo natuurlijk mogelijk naar voren komt. Maximale klankoverdracht komt door de speciale double-lock dovetail neck joint.
Gold Passion: vergulden geestdriftig akoestisch gitaarspelen
Daarnaast is voor een lekker overdadig luxe look voor de achter- en zijkanten gevlamd esdoorn van AAA-kwaliteit geselecteerd. Dit biedt je niet alleen net wat meer definitie en rijke boventonen, maar ook nog iets waar je beslist je ogen niet vanaf kunt houden. Natuurlijk kunnen hierbij dan houten delen zoals de toets, de brugkam en zelfs de brugpinnen van chique ebbenhout niet ontbreken. Om je tijdens het gitaarspelen bij deze E/A gitaar niets in de weg te zitten en je veel speelplezier te bieden, is deze toets overigens helemaal met de hand afgerond. Maar ook de randen van de bevallig gevormde modern concert body van de Gold Passion hebben een hand-rolled treatment ondergaan om ook op dat gebied je optimaal speelcomfort te kunnen leveren. Voor een hoogwaardig warm en rijke uitversterking kun je uiteraard vertrouwen op het Anthem systeem van het veel geroemde L.R.Baggs.
