Algemeen

De Ovation 2758AX-NEB-G is een 12-snarige, elektrisch-akoestische westerngitaar die zijn dynamiek en definitie ontleent aan een A-grade Sitka-sparren top, Lyrachord-body en geprofileerde X-bracing. Het karakter is direct, helder gelaagd en strak in de respons, met de typische stabiliteit en projectie die spelers van Ovation verwachten. De vijfdelige mahonie/esdoorn hals, Pau Ferro toets, de 18 fullsize frets met uitbreiding tot 23, en de cutaway maken het zeer comfortabel om tot in de hoogste posities te spelen! De New England Burst-afwerking en de hardhouten epaulettes geven deze Elite Deep Contour een unieke uitstraling, een echte eye-catcher. 

Transparant: akoestisch én versterkt

Versterkt blijft de 2758AX-NEB-G net zo transparant als akoestisch: het OCP-1K element en de OP-Pro voorversterker leveren een heldere weergave, bruikbaar zonder extra correctie. Maar mocht je toch iets aan willen passen dan kan dat met de daarvoor bestemde gain-, low-, mid- en high-sliders. Dit samen met de EQ-bypass knop en een discrete tuner geven voldoende regelmogelijkheden om de klank en stemming precies naar wens in te stellen! De antraciet hardware, die-cast tuners en Adamas Nuova snaren sluiten logisch aan op een instrument dat is ontworpen om betrouwbaar te blijven onder spanning. En dan komt de Lyrachord body ook erg van pas, aangezien die veel minder wordt beïnvloed door externe factoren als vochtigheid en temperatuur. Deze Ovation 2758AX-NEB-G is geen gitaar die je alleen kiest voor de looks: het is een precisietool voor spelers die exact weten wat ze uit hun westerngitaar willen halen.
