Algemeen

De Ovation Standard Elite Deep Contour (2778AX-5-G) is een elektrisch-akoestische westerngitaar voor spelers die geen behoefte hebben aan compromis: niet in klank, niet in afwerking en zeker niet in speelcomfort. Het is een instrument dat direct laat merken dat het gebouwd is voor serieuze muzikanten: responsief, flexibel met de pickup, en aangekleed met subtiel opvallende looks. Het massieve Sitka-sparren bovenblad en de deep contour-body vormen samen een klankbeeld dat breed, open en strak gecontroleerd is. En de roundbacks van Ovation zorgen altijd voor een hoog speelcomfort. Het opvallend ingelegde ‘Exotic Hardwood epaulettes’ design rondom de klankgaten zorgt dat deze Standard Elite een échte eyecatcher is. 

Oog voor detail

De hals, gebouwd van vijfdelig mahonie- en esdoorn hout, voelt solide maar goed bespeelbaar. De Pau Ferro toets zorgt voor een premium voelende, gecontroleerde aanraking, en de cutaway biedt eenvoudige toegang tot alle hogere frets. Wat bij de Ovation 2778AX-5-G ook opvalt, is de kleine toets-extensie. Hierdoor is het mogelijk om bij de hoogste snaren, naast de 17 fullsize frets, tot de 23e fret te spelen! Eenmaal aangesloten op een versterker hoor je meteen hoe het OCP-1K element en de OP-Pro voorversterker samen een transparant en natuurgetrouwe klank leveren. Geschikt voor zowel het podium als de studio, of je nu akoestisch speelt of met versterking. Deze elektrisch-akoestische 2778AX-5-G van Ovation is een instrument dat je niet alleen kiest om zijn flexibiliteit bij het door versterken, maar ook omdat het een instrument is met een prachtige natuurlijke klank en een unieke uitstraling!
