Ovation brengt met de Celebrity Elite Deluxe Deep Contour CDX40 een elektrisch-akoestische westerngitaar met een direct herkenbare uitstraling. Zo is er gekozen voor een nieuw ontworpen epaulet rondom de klankgaten. Dit model is opgebouwd uit een massief sparrenhouten bovenblad met een nieuw ontworpen ‘quintad’ Elite zangbalkstructuur. Hierdoor kun je rekenen op een indrukwekkende klank die de ruimte vult met rijke, volle tonen. 

Celebrity Elite Deluxe CDX40: Comfortabele speelervaring

Ovation heeft gekozen voor de Deep Contour Lyrachord body, net zoals op de modellen uit de veel duurdere Pro Series. Dit geeft de Celebrity Elite Deluxe CD40X extra comfort en diepte, waardoor het de perfecte metgezel is voor een soepele en expressieve speelstijl. Dankzij de ingebouwde Ovation CP-100 slimline pickup met 3-band EQ en stemapparaat leent dit model zich uitstekend voor optredens en studiosessies. Kortom, bijzonder stijlvol en breed inzetbaar.

Erg mooi geluid, en ook een mooie gitaar echter er zit een richel bovenop de bolle achterkant en deze richel drukt in mijn ribben. Na een half uur spelen begint dit pijn te doen, ik heb van alles geprobeerd, andere zit houding, gitaar hoger of lager houden, been op opstapje maar die richel blijft in mijn ribben drukken. Jammer maar ik moest hem retourneren. Ik heb nu de Ovation Pro Ultra 1516 gekocht, deze heeft geen richel eens kijken hoe die bevalt. :-)
