Algemeen
De FX400 van Yamaha is uitgerust met een een pickupsysteem waardoor je deze elektrisch-akoestische westerngitaar kunt versterken en bijvoorbeeld om bijvoorbeeld op een podium te spelen. Dankzij de 4-bands EQ voorversterker kan je de toon regelen en creëer je ook versterkt een natuurlijk geluid. Een stemapparaatje werd ingebouwd zodat je steeds je gitaar eenvoudig kunt stemmen. De body in dreadnought-vorm is mat afgewerkt met een ultradun laagje zodat het sparrenhout van het bovenblad mooi tot zijn recht komt. Dankzij de kortere mensuur van 634 millimeter en toets van palissander speelt deze gitaar ontzettend comfortabel. Deze gitaar kreeg de kleur Smoky Black.

- Dreadnought-vorm garandeert ook akoestisch een vol en rijk geluid met veel volume.
- Eenvoudig ontwerp en een matte afwerking zodat je de textuur van het hout kunt voelen.
- Dankzij relatief korte mensuur van 634 millimeter en lagere spaarspanning heel comfortabel te bespelen.
- Een gigbag is niet inbegrepen.
