Squier Affinity Strat Pack HSS Candy Apple Red / Frontman 15G
If you're a beginner electric guitar player don't make the same mistake that I did and think that a more expensive guitar will better suit your needs better then a Squier Affinity (or Bullet) Stratocaster. I figured that because I had the money I should buy an electric guitar that cost 2.5 times more than the Squier Affinity Stratocaster. After all, 2.5 times more expensive is 2.5 times more guitar, right?
Like I said... A mistake.
Although it was a beautiful guitar my beginner's hand and fingers struggled with the playability of the guitar. At first I thought that it was difficult because of my newness to the electric guitar scene but then I had a chance to play the Squier Affinity Stratocaster and saw that it was so much more playable and beginner's friendly compared to my more expensive guitar. And with playability comes more enjoyment and the motivation to practice more which is challenging enough for new guitar players.
I highly recommend the Squier Affinity or Bullet series to new electric guitar players as they are fun and easy to play. Later, once you've proven to yourself that you are serious about your playing, you can always buy a more expensive guitar or upgrade your Stratocaster. Until then, the Squier Affinity or Bullet Stratocaster is an excellent way to start. It just feels good, sounds good, and looks good.
What more could a beginner want?
