Algemeen

De Framus Artist Line Shark Series WH-1 FR is het signature model van Wolf Hoffmann (Accept) en is gebouwd als een no-nonsense performance-gitaar. Je krijgt een rechtshandige 6-snarige V-shape met een resonante mahonie body en een set-neck constructie met een gevlamde esdoorn hals. De 25.5 inch mensuur (648 mm) voelt strak en direct aan, ideaal voor moderne rock en metal. De Solid Overland Gray High Polish finish geeft de gitaar een stijlvolle, stoere uitstraling, terwijl de WH-1 2D headstock met Framus-logo en Wolf Hoffmann-signature het plaatje compleet maakt.

Speelgevoel en afwerking

De “Tigerstripe” ebben toets met Mother of Pearl block pyramid inlays is niet alleen mooi, maar ook gemaakt om hard te spelen. Dankzij 24 ‘small and high’ RVS frets en Invisible Fretwork Technology (IFT) met afgeronde fret-uiteinden voelt alles soepel aan, van snelle riffs tot breed vibrato. Op het podium houd je je positie moeiteloos bij met de fluorescent green Luminlay side dots (2.5 mm), ook als het licht bijna uit staat. Met een 12 inch radius (305 mm) is het speelgevoel modern en comfortabel, met genoeg ruimte voor strak ritmewerk én leadspel.

Elektronica en hardware

Qua sound zit je meteen goed met de Fishman Fluence Wolf Hoffmann Signature set: een single-coil bij de hals en een humbucker bij de brug. Met de MEC push/pull volumepot schakel je de humbucker ‘Voice’ mapping, en via de CRL 3-weg schakelaar kies je snel je pickupstand. Voor extreme tremolo-acties is er een Floyd Rose 1000 Series Original Style tremolo, gecombineerd met een Floyd Rose 1000 Series R2 locking nut en Grover 502BC locking machine heads. Af fabriek is hij besnaard met .010–.046 Elixir Optiweb en geleverd met luxe Framus V-bag en accessoires.
