Algemeen

Dit is de Seymour Duncan SH-PG1b Pearly Gates Bridge Humbucker. Het gaat om een Billy Gibbons dubbelspoels gitaarelement, bedoeld voor elektrische en semi-akoestische gitaren. Dit 8.2 kOhm element is geschikt voor de brug-positie van je gitaar. Deze versie heeft een stukje meer output dan een reguliere PAF net als de bridge pickup uit Billy zijn eigen vintage 1959 Les Paul solidbody om je nét dat beetje extra te kunnen bieden. Omdat het hier een alnico 2 humbucker betreft, is de basisklank strak met een stevig Texas-stijl midden-accent en lekker luchtige trebles. De 4-aderige kabel maak het mogelijk om deze pickup te coil-spitten en om ongewenst feedback tegen te gaan, is hij daarnaast ondergedompeld was ofwel wax potted. Dit dubbelspoels gitaar-element is met de hand gemaakt in de Santa Barbara, CA fabriek van Seymour Duncan in de USA.
