Algemeen
Het Liquid Drive-ontwerp onderscheidt dit statief van de andere modellen in de 9700-serie. Op het eerste oog zie je een ketting, maar als je verder kijkt, zie je ook dat over een soort cam ligt, vergelijkbaar met een bassdrumpedaal. Hierdoor wordt het pedaal zeer gevoelig en kun je met veel nuances spelen. Daarnaast is het dubbelbenige, stalen onderstel draaibaar, dus prima bruikbaar in een opstelling met dubbel bassdrumpedaal. Bij het statief krijg je de SC-4420S Super clutch.
