Deze Signature mallet van Vic Firth is ontworpen in samenwerking met bekende Zweedse componist en artiest Anders Åstrand. De mallet heeft een gewonden garen kop met hoge dichtheid en heeft een medium-soft hardheid. Hierdoor is deze mallet erg geschikt voor de midrange van de marimba, waarbij deze extra goed werkt bij solo spel, duetten of in een ensemble. De stok heeft een lengte van 43.18 cm en is gemaakt van rotan-hout.
