Fazley brengt met de FMA321SB een bijzonder stijlvolle F-stijl mandoline in een tijdloze Sunburst-afwerking. De klankkast is opgebouwd uit een sparrenhouten bovenblad met zij- en achterkanten van mahoniehout. Dit beproefde recept van toonhoutsoorten staat garant voor een gebalanceerde klank met voldoende helderheid, zodat alle noten mooi tot uiting komen. Smaakvolle details zoals de positiemarkeringen op de toets en de vergulde hardware tillen deze mandoline naar een hoger niveau. Juste reçu cette mandoline, j'étais curieux de voir le résultat quand je l'ai commandée .
Et bien :
- lutherie de bonne qualité : bois, collages, filets, vernis, manche, frettage, ...
- mécaniques, cordier et chevalet très corrects.
- cordes neuves et correctes,
- son très sympa
- juste un petit réglage (de manche et d'action) à faire pour qu'elle soit parfaitement jouable.
Bref, je suis bluffé et très satisfait de mon achat.
Rapport qualité prix imbattable.

Im very happy with the mandolin.

The construction and finish are surprisingly good for the price point

The tuners are OK, but could be better, more a personal preference.

The bridge profile was a perfect match for the arch of the top, full contact over the full width.

The tail piece is solid, not a thin pressed steel construction.

Out of the box, after tunning it was playable.

I did carry out a setup to meet my own requirements. This incuded filing the nut slots, lowering the bridge piece, which did include some sanding. Then fitted 80/20 bronze wound strings.
