Algemeen

De USB/MIDI-keyboards van de Arturia Essential line-up zijn populair, zeer populair. Want ze zijn er al een tijdje, en in deze tijd waarin de ontwikkelingen je om de oren vliegen blijft de Essential fier overeind. Maar Arturia verveelt zich nimmer, het zijn en blijven bezige bijtjes. En zo zijn we beland bij de Keylab Essential MK3-serie. Voor wie nog geen USB/MIDI-keyboard heeft is dit een heerlijk compleet apparaat, met alles wat je in essentie nodig hebt om je DAW aan te sturen. Je krijgt faders, encoders, pads, een master-sectie, pitch- en modulatiewielen, en de 49 klaviertoetsen die voor velen genoeg zijn.

Meegeleverde software van de Arturia Keylab Essential MK3

We noemden al het aansturen van je DAW, maar als je die DAW nog niet hebt, wel... dan krijg je er een! Om precies te zijn, bij dit keyboard zit de populaire Ableton Live Lite; dan kun je gelijk de pads leuk inzetten om muzikale clips te triggeren. Als je al een andere DAW gebruikt: je zult merken dat de integratie vanuit dit keyboard zeer goed is! Maar ook virtuele instrumenten zijn van de partij. Analog Lab V bijvoorbeeld; traditioneel een grote bak klanken uit vintage synths, maar nu ook voorzien van moderne klanken, inclusief orkestklanken.
