Although this is listed for a 10" pandeiro I've decided to try and fit it to a Luen 10" Repinique I'd got from Bax Music as B stock for an amazing 29 pounds. The skin feels to be as thick as a drum head intended for a repinique and it fits the repinique rim perfectly and tunes up as normal. It seems to play as well but only time will tell if it lasts as long. Having the drum head with this superb brazilian flag design is what attracted me and it is even cheaper than the same product for a 6 inch tamborim! Bax prices are already reduced on rrp then they often reduce them further.
Bax Music do not stock these, it seems, for 12" drums or I'd buy them. What a great design and I think the colourful design on the skin will not wear off with playing.It is either a laminated coated or printed 'in' the drumhead rather than ink on the skin surface.
