Algemeen
De YAS-875EX van Yamaha is een stap van de klassieke, gewaardeerde YAS-875 naar perfectie. Met een hele nieuwe indeling, waar een comfortabele handpositie prioriteit is, kan je een prettige speelbaarheid verwachten. De front-F klep is druppelvormig, wat makkelijker te spelen is en kan versteld worden (net als de duim-haak) voor jouw specifieke voorkeur. Behalve prettig vasthouden, speelt hij ook een prettig geluid. De eendelige beker zorgt voor een samenhangende resonantie en hij heeft een goede intonatie over het hele bereik. Ook het lage register is goed te spelen doordat de diameter van de lage C en D toongaten verkleind is. Het model komt met een 4CM mondstuk en een semi-harde case meegeleverd.
