Algemeen
Met een ‘no nonsense’ afwerking en massief bovenblad van sparren heeft Sigma Guitars met de DME een gitaar gemaakt met een uitmuntende prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Met ingebouwd element en tuner. De constructie van de gitaar heeft een flinke upgrade ten opzichte van een hoop andere gitaren uit hetzelfde segment, de DME heeft namelijk een massief bovenblad van sparren (Sitka Spruce) en achter- zijkanten van mahonie. De hals, eveneens van mahonie, heeft een comfortabel ondiep profiel en een micarta toets. Je speelt soepel en zonder obstakels tot aan de 14e fret, waar de hals verbindt met de gitaar body. Een Sigma element en voorversterker zorgen ervoor dat je ook versterkt kan genieten van een natuurlijk en dynamische klank. De hardware van de gitaar is van een hoge kwaliteit, zo heb je een benen topkam en brugzadel, en robuuste stemmechanieken voor een betrouwbare intonatie, sustain, en stemvastheid.

Deze gitaar heeft een zeer mooie sound, vol en met een heel mooie tingle erin.
Ook zo out of the box eigenlijk perfect afgesteld, en behoefte geen verdere afstelling.
Ik denk voor onder de 300 euro dit de beste gitaar is die er te koop is.
