Algemeen
De Fortin Amplification 33 is ontwikkeld in samenwerking met Fredrik Thordendal van Meshuggah. Deze stompbox verandert elke gitaarversterker in een pure metalmachine. Het is namelijk een gefilterde clean boost, waarbij je tot wel 22 dB aan boost tot je beschikking krijgt. Doordat het een clean boost is, blijft het natuurlijke karakter van je amp volledig intact. Een handige toevoeging is de extra jack-aansluiting aan de zijkant, waarmee je kunt schakelen tussen de kanalen op je versterker. Handig als je bijvoorbeeld je clean channel echt clean wilt houden, maar wel snel wilt kunnen schakelen naar je brute metal sound. De compacte matzwarte behuizing met het glanzende zwarte logo maakt de Fortin Mini 33 een bijzondere verschijning op je pedalboard.

De Fortin 33, de stompbox waar F.Thordendal bij zweert. Deze stompbox is ontwikkeld voor de metal gitarist die een strakkere low-end wilt en in woorden valt niet te ventileren hoe geweldig dit pedaal is voor die gitarist. De stompbox is aan de prijzige kant maar eenmaal je hem aanzet, zet je hem nooit meer uit en het nieuwe formaat maakt dat je meer plek op je stompboxboard over houd wat altijd positief is. Ik, evenals F.Thordendal, zweer bij dit product tot de dag des mortum.
