Algemeen
Ben je fan van die ODS versterkersounds van verschillende modellen uit de seventies tot en met de nineties, maar kun je niet kiezen? Dan hoeft dat ook niet met deze Ultraphonix MKII Special Overdrive van Vertex Effects. De sounds van deze drive stompbox zijn namelijk gebaseerd op 4 Dumble Overdrive Special modellen uit deze tijdsperiode om je die populaire midrijke oversturinggeluiden met rijke harmonieën en die strakke attack te kunnen bieden. Regel het effectvolume en de hoeveelheid drive met de master en de level, bepaal de verhouding tussen clean en de overdrive met ratio én stel tot slot de speciale sweet spot voor je eigen gitaarsound in. Wanneer je onder andere rock, fusion, bluesrock of misschien wel pop speelt, vind je door de 30 procent kleinere behuizing vast nu nog beter een plekje voor deze Vertex Ultraphonix MKII op je pedalboard.

Incredible Dumblesque tones.
This has become my new favourite overdrive pedal. Adds a richness and meatiness to my guitar tone.
Running this at about half gain into a clean amp it’s become an always on pedal so I can benefit from this pedals tone.
Cleans up real nice with the guitar volume. And becomes gloriously chonky when stacked with another overdrive.
The engineering and design of this pedal is also very impressive. A quick look at the guts of this thing shows how well it’s built.
