De Gibson Custom 1960 Hummingbird Reissue is een ware ode aan het legendarische origineel uit het begin van de jaren '60. Deze elektrisch akoestische westerngitaar is vervaardigd in de Custom Shop en afgewerkt door Murphy Lab, waarbij de Light Aging-techniek zorgvuldig is toegepast. Het thermisch behandelde Sitka sparren bovenblad en mahoniehouten body zorgen samen voor een krachtige, rijke klank met een authentiek vintage karakter. Dankzij de klassieke Hummingbird-vorm, parelmoer parallellogram-inlays en het licht verouderde, goudkleurige hardware, ademt deze gitaar de sfeer van de Gibson Golden Era. Met een afgeronde mahoniehouten hals, benen topkam van 43,81 mm en een traditionele belly-up brug is dit instrument niet alleen een streling voor het oog, maar ook een prettig speelbare keuze voor liefhebbers van het klassieke Hummingbird-geluid.
