Algemeen
Yamaha heeft besloten om zijn klassieke FG bodyvorm toe te voegen aan de bijzonder inspirerende Transacoustic lijn. De FG-TA geeft je eveneens de optie om zelfs zonder externe apparaten chorus en reverb te gebruiken. De zogenoemde actuator of aandrijver binnen in de klankkast trilt tijdens het spelen mee op de vibratie van je gitaarsnaren. Dit zorgt ervoor dat deze effecten versterkt én akoestisch te horen zijn. Wanneer je de volumeknop indrukt, heb je met de TA-schakelaar te maken. Hiermee zet je de effecten aan en de niveau's van de reverb en chorus draai je nauwgezet bij met de twee voorste knoppen.
FG-TA: scalloped bracing, voeding en end-pin jack
De akoestische sound krijgt bij deze Yamaha dreadnought iets meer bassen en mids mee. Dit komt door de nieuw ontworpen geschulpte bebalking van het massieve sparren bovenblad. Om de bekende klankaccenten te kunnen bieden bij deze TransAcoustic FG westergitaar, zijn de achter- en zijkanten van nato en is palissander het materiaal dat voor de brug en toets gebruikt is. Wil je weten waar je op den duur de nieuwe AA batterijen in wilt doen om de System70 preamp te voeden? Kijk dan op de plek waar de achterste strapbutton zit. Deze draagbandpin fungeert tegelijk als de mono jack-uitgang voor je instrumentkabel.

excellente guitare, Yamaha encore une fois au top de l'innovation, l'effet chorus et la reverbe sont bluffant, même sans, la guitare "sonne" bien, la couleur vintage est sympa et le vernis est superbe, bref rien à redire pour le tarif, pour avoir aussi une Martin, la Yamaha n'a rien à lui envier, bien au contraire !
