Innox PB30RB banquette piano rouge-marron

I bought this in their sale and it was a real bargain. The quality is outstanding, sturdy enough to take my 20 stone weight! The padding is not soft and just hard enough to allow you to sit for an hour or two of playing. I use it for both piano and guitar practice and find it better and more comfortable than my old guitar stool.

Dit jaar deze pianokruk aangeschaft. Ziet er idd mooi uit maar is gemaakt van mdf plaat. Zelfs de poten.
Hierdoor is er nu al een poot afgebroken. Levensgevaarlijk. Het is bij een paar blauwe plekken gebleven maar het had ook anders kunnen aflopen.
Niet kopen dus.

I feel this seat it good. I checked out other seats beforehand but felt this buttoned synthetic leather arrangement would be ideal for me as a learner - it was! The padding is just right for me, not too jelly soft or too bony hard - just pleasantly firm and supportive. This allows the load on my posterior to spread out over the generous seat area, thus not setting up chances for pressure points after prolong playing.



The seat needed to elevate to 54cm, which is the equal height to my wife's antique piano seat. The Innox managed this with another 1cm to spare or more. The knobs on the side are very stiff to turn but a little silicon grease helped ease the thread. There is absolutely no wobble or instability in the seat at such high settings (as I have set it). The seat remains absolutely true and stable at maximum articulated height and at its lowest setting too and everything in between.



The legs are sturdy enough. They are a highly glossed finished in a warm redwood-type varnish. I'm glad I chose the red/brown finish, as aesthetically it is warm on the eye and welcoming as a piece of furniture. It makes me want to sit at the piano! I plan to glue the legs on, in addition to using the screw threads that come as the main anchor fixture for the legs. This is my choice, as I don't want the threads working lose after prolonged use. Having said this, I have not experienced any legs instability or loosening while in use without glue being used.



All in all a good seat which when compared to similar seats elsewhere appears a reasonable deal from Bax. They packaged the seat for delivery immaculately - very impressed by their care here too.



Overall, I'm pleased with the seat for the price I paid. I would recommend it for learners and beginners in piano and keyboard.
