VERY PLEASED INDEED, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
After looking at digital grand pianos by Roland, Kawaii, Kurzweil, Casio, Classenti and Broadway, among others, as well as Yamaha, I settled on this above all of them. All the others were variously unavailable, too expensive, too big (150-180cm deep), or too toy-like (86-88cm deep) - this is 115cm. Add to this, Yamaha's reputation for touch, sound, build and reliability, and the decision was easy. Yamaha's popularity also means that their products have higher resale value, if that concerns you.
The string resonance and damper resonance are impressive, and with the sampling from the CFX, Yamaha's £100,000 flagship concert grand, plus the Bösendorfer concert grand voice, and the ways in which you can tweak the touch and brilliance, I am very pleased with it. There are masses of other features, and the little, inconspicuous display has a wealth of embedded functions within it.
The piano was delivered boxed on a disposable pallet so you need to arrange the unpacking and installation yourself. It is heavy, some 100kg/220lb/15st10lb, so you need 3 people for this. There were other providers who would deliver the piano fully assembled, but they charged a few hundred pounds more. They would have taken longer too, about a month, whereas I received this piano from Bax within a week! I chose the package deal, so a matching piano bench arrived with it for half price, which I am also very happy with!
