Roland TR-06 Drumatix + JD-08 synthesizer

A fantastic little powerhouse of a synth. I missed out on the D50 remake, so this is the next step up. Don't let the small faders put you off, as the last one you touched is transfered to the 4 big pallete faders. Sounds just like a JD800 but smaller, excellent 4 layer pad machine with some sounds you will recognise from the 90s, that lead guitar sound is woah! D50 esque samples on board create that breathy bell type character if you want it. Programming is relatively easy I found using the led nemeric screen easy, as the abbreviated functions are written in a thoughtful way so as to understand them quickly. Also responds to aftertouch which opens up another side to designing sounds. Love it! Bax music delivered as promised, no hassles, kept me informed on delivery and updated accordingly. Only quibble was the JD08 box was just floating around in another box, no packing between them, this split the corner of the outer packing. Some bubble wrap would avoid this, luckily no damage to the goods inside.

Bien pratique ce câble midi avec fiche rotative notamment pour un gain de place sur pedalboard. Le câble midi fait parfaitement son boulot, j'en ai déjà plusieurs et ils semblent tenir dans le temps. Donc à mon avis un très bon rapport qualité/prix.

Pour ce qui est de la fonction connexion électrique, tout va bien.
Cependant, attention à la dénomination : il n'y a que l'étrier de fixation du câble qui pivote, et pas la fiche en tant que telle.
Généralement, les pin sont horizontales (vers le haut ou le bas) ; il sera donc possible d’orienter le câble vers le haut ou le bas, mais pas en biais

Ayant déja été agréablement surpris par les performances d'autres modules "boutique" je me suis donc penché sur le JD 08, et je n'ai pas été déçu: un concentré de possibilités sonores, avec un visuel inspirant et une interface intuitive riche en commandes directes. Possédant l'original (JD 800), je retrouve bien les caractéristiques sonores qui me sont familières et ceci dans un format cette fois-ci compact et autonome (alimentation par port usb ou piles). 128 voix de polyphonie (pour un "tone") quand il y en avait 24 sur l'original! Et le son est envoyé en numérique sur le port USB! Le séquenceur de mouvement et l'arpégiateur ajoutent des possibilités de modulation aux deux LFO, ce qui permet de dépasser sur ce point le JD 800.
