Informations
Avec la Starfire I Bass de la Newark St. Collection, Guild propose une basse semi-hollow body moderne au look emblématique. Sa caisse fine en acajou et son diapason court de 30,75 pouces la rende très agréable à jouer, notamment pour les jeunes musiciens et les musiciens expérimentés à la recherche de plus de mobilité sur scène. Guild a équipé la Starfire I d'un micro BC-1 BiCoil et d'un contrôle de volume push/pull. Ainsi, vous pouvez obtenir une large gamme de sonorités, du son contemporain au vintage. Le chevalet Guild Bass Tune-O-Matic et le cordier Harp contribuent, de leur côté, à une grande stabilité d'accordage ainsi qu'à une apparence particulièrement élégante !

Mooi afgewerkte en goed afgestelde basgitaar. De bespeelbaarheid is zondermeer goed te noemen, erg prettige (shortscale) hals en een fijne grote en niet te dikke body. De geluidsmogelijkheden zijn goed te varieren i.c.m. de toonknop en de plaats waar je speelt, zo kom je tot een behoorlijk scala aan geluidsmogelijkheden dus bruikbaar bij vele muziekstijlen. De bas klinkt mooi helder. Een aanrader zeker voor het geld want hij ziet er chiquer uit dan zijn prijs doet vermoeden. Jammer dat de gigbag niet op korte termijn leverbaar is want de bas heeft een hele specifieke maat waardoor hij niet in reguliere gigbags past.
